Title: Modeling Flexibility in dynamic supply chain networks: A Multi- agent Based Approach

To be reliable in an uncertain and changing environments, several companies are stressing flexibility and agility in order to respond effectively, to the unique needs of customers and market. We propose a multiagent framework, which represents trade-offs between the different possible values of the negotiation issues with a corresponding coordination mechanism dedicated to dynamic supply chain environments. Such a coordination of agents and its great flexibility creates a chance to build a network of excellence, able to compete with traditional large-scale enterprises in terms of price, manufacturing time and quality, and surpass them in accommodation to the individual needs and requirements of the customers. The model provides flexibility in those processes that reduce product strategies, reconfigure chain of resources to produce product, and re-deploy those resources needed to produce the product that is it provides coordination flexibility between seller’s agent and buyer’s agent.
